All Nighter

5 July 2013

I noticed this product doing the blogger rounds a few months ago, but didn't really take much notice. Urban Decay are a much loved brand, but they only appeared on my radar for eyeshadows, so this didn't catch my attention. Fast forward to Las Vegas though, and stacked up by the tills Sephora have some seriously tempting miniature products. This setting spray managed to make its way in to my basket (what a surprise), and fast forward six weeks, here we are.

I don't struggle with overly shiny makeup on a day to day basis, but at night time, get me in a sweaty venue and all composure goes out the window. I'm dancing like a crazy woman and my face is lit up like a disco ball, attractive. I tested this out once in Vegas (the hottest week of my life) and it was up to the job - although everywhere was air conditioned, so I'm not really sure if it counts - but it's been at home that this has really impressed me. As directed, I've misted it in a big X on my face, and bobs your uncle. Just make sure you don't over do it like the first time I used it, as initially I thought my makeup was going to run off.

The first time I used All Nighter at home, I spent the whole night saying "am I shiny? Is my makeup okay? Do I look sweaty?" because I didn't really trust that a product could be that effective. However, my powder was kept at bay all night, and I happen to think that this baby is responsible. It didn't break me out or cause any skin irritation whatsoever, and my makeup looked as good when I got home as it did when first applied - perhaps even better, because I lost the 'powdery-ness' of my initial application.

So listen up brides-to-be, fellow shine prone gals or just anyone who wants their makeup to stay looking flawless. Give this hand bag sized setting spray a go and I think you'll be impressed. For £9, there's not much to complain about!
