Purity Made Simple

19 May 2013

Lately I've been shaking things up a little in the skin care department. Although I will always repurchase my beloved Emma Hardie balm cleanser, I'm now rotating three different products to make sure my skin stays healthy and balanced. This cleansing gel is my go to for mornings when my skin needs a good kick.

Purity Made Simple is the first skin care product I've ever tried from Philosophy, and I have to admit that I'm suitably impressed. I'd read positive reviews in the past but had always been a little bit wary because of the 'foaming' claim, but actually it leaves my skin feeling beautifully soft, and not at all tight. This gel is excellent at giving my skin a refreshing boost in the morning, and I've also found that it's superb at removing makeup. Usually my toner picks up the last traces of my foundation, but the cotton pad is always clear when I've used this in the evening.

So far I've reserved this cleanser for days when my skin is feeling particularly difficult, and I've barely made a dent in the tube. I have a feeling this will be perfect for summer, so I've decanted some in to a little pot to take to Vegas with me - next week, could I be any more excited?! At £17.00, it's a lot more reasonably priced than other products in my skin care basket, and it's something that I'd definitely recommend for combination skin like mine, plus it's brilliant when used with my No7 cleansing brush.

Have you tried anything from the Philosophy range? Do you like to shake up your skin care routine for summer?
