A post about the Revlon lip butters would have been a bit more relevant this time last year, but hey, better late than never. When these were first released I didn't pay much attention to them despite the hype, as I wasn't really a sheer lip fan. However, over the last few months I've been leaning more towards a light sweep of colour, and reaching for these lip butters more often than not.
Raspberry Pie was my first purchase of the three, after a while spent umming and ahhing. It's a really pretty dark pink colour, and very easy to wear on a day to day basis. Red Velvet is a gorgeous deep red shade which I love for topping up a red lip throughout the day. It's my favourite of the three, and such an easy to wear colour. Creamsicle isn't available in the UK, but it looks to be a lighter version of Creme Brulee. It's a nice peachy nude shade, but it's not as pigmented as Raspberry Pie or Red Velvet. I've found it's great for throwing on in the morning pre-work rush, as it's not too noticeable when it fades. I received both Red Velvet and Creamsicle as part of beauty swaps with North American bloggers.
I really love the texture of the Revlon lip butters. They give a gorgeous, soft and glossy finish, which I like to sheer out with my fingertip. I'm not a fan of high maintenance lip products - I like to talk a lot - so these are perfect. They wear nicely, don't look bad when the colour starts to fade, and leave my lips feeling nice and moisturised. Which shade should I try next?
I love the red velvet colour! definitely need to save up to try these.

I can't believe I still haven't tried the lip butters. My favourite here is definitely raspberry pie, it'd be beautiful in the Summer

I LOVE the shades Raspberry Pie and Red Velvet. I am always re-impressed everytime I use them. Just SO pigmented for a lip butter. And I definitely agree that they even look good as the colour fades. No weird creasing or lines. AH. Love it. I definitely want to try the new colours they are releasing, but haven't seen them in the UK yet!
