Pixi's Perfect Tonic

Pixi Glow Tonic - £16

When I posted about my skin care routine back in February, one of the products people seemed fairly interested in was the Pixi Glow Tonic. This has been a permanent fixture in my routine since last November, so I thought it was about time I got a review up!

I purchased this after Caroline Hirons gave it a great review, and it was on two for one at the time. I've just gotten to the bottom of my first bottle, and I'm hooked. In the past, I've always heard people talk about products that give them an instant boost, but I'd never really believed it until I tried this. I like to sweep a couple of pumps of this over my face on a cotton pad, and my skin glows.

I definitely think this has contributed to getting my blemishes under control - it removes any last trace of makeup, and contains witch hazel and glycolic acid, which are both things I find effective with my skin. Additionally, at the moment my skin is pretty dry, and the Glow Tonic is well suited for this as it's alcohol free.

If you're after a new toner, I'd definitely recommend giving this a go. I use it morning and night, seven days a week, and I'm really happy with it. I love that the packaging is fuss free, and having a pump is super handy. My only gripe with this is that it's not available to purchase online. You can only get this in their flagship store - or as I did - by emailing storemanager@pixibeauty.com. The team were really helpful, and posted my toners recorded for £5.00.

  2. I remember seeing this in a post of yours before and I've been waiting for a review ever since. Asos stock Pixi but not their skincare which is a massive pain - I'm really interested in trying this so I might have to contact them directly too! x

    1. The facebook page says they do ship internationally (you have to email customer service) but they have been sold out of this product for a while and someone contacted them about it and they said they have no plans to restock in the near future. Weird. I really hope they do and I hope this line comes to the US. Target carries they cosmetics, why not the skincare line.

Just a quick q - do you exfoliate aside from using this?

    1. Hi Sarah :) I do, yes. I don't like exfoliating bead type products, but I use a chemical exfoliant - alpha h liquid gold is my favourite - maybe once a week x
