I thought I'd share a few of the goodies I picked up on a recent trip to France with you all. I (of course) stocked up on Bioderma, but other than that, pharmacy wise there wasn't much I required after my last haul in September - post here. I've been enjoying rotating three Caudalie moisturisers, so I thought I'd give this accompanying serum a go too. I'd also had my eye on this Klorane dry shampoo for a while too, as although I love my batiste, sometimes it's nice to have an alternative.
In Sephora, I picked up two Make Up For Ever products that I've been dreaming about for at least six months each - the Aqua Rouge in Burgundy, and some Diamond Powder. So far, I'm incredibly impressed by the quality of both items, so expect to see reviews soon. i also purchased these pouches which (I think?) contain bubble bath in various scents, and a blending brush to use for concealer. Nothing too exciting, but the brush felt super soft and I'm a sucker for bath related smellies! Finally, after reading several nail related posts/watching manicure videos recently (Getting Cheeky, Vivianna Does Makeup and Essie Button), I decided to purchase a glass nail file. This Sephora one was the first I saw, and only €8.
Not a super exciting post I'm afraid, but I always enjoy looking at and trying out products which aren't easily accessible in the UK. In case you couldn't tell from the tone of this post, I've had a particularly bad day - I've crashed my car, and sprained my ankle. However, I've received lots of exciting beauty related packages today, so I'm sure that'll distract me from the pain of my foot/wallet!
I hope you have a quick recovery Josie! x at least you have some Sephora goodies to play around with while you rest!
ReplyDeleteAhh I hope you're okay! I crashed my car a few years ago so I know exactly how shit it is. The beauty goodies will definitely make you feel better :):) xx
ReplyDeleteAh no, sorry to hear you've had such a rubbish day! Hope the car crash wasn't too expensive and that your ankle gets better soon :( xxx
ReplyDeleteI'm actually on the look-out for a new serum so will be interested to see what the Caudalie one is like. I always love these kinds of posts so don't worry, they're far from boring!

Oh dear! I hope your ankle gets better soon. It is not a nice thing to sprain your ankle (been there done that).
ReplyDeleteOn a happier note, these purchases look great. I love the Bioderma, and hope I can get my butt to France to purchase some before my current bottle runs out. And MUFE...how I wish we could get that in the UK! x

Oh, a post full of lovely things! I absolutely love the Klorane dry shampoo, I really liked the Batiste one too but as it is not available in my country and the Klorane is, that's what I've been using for yeeears.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes please later on show us swatches from the things from MUFE you got :)

If you like the Vinosource Serum, I'm sure you'll love the Vinoperfect serum as well! Nice haul!
ReplyDeleteYou're so lucky to have visited France! I would die to visit a french pharmacy :) I love Bioderma, it's all I've been using to remove makeup for the last few months. How do you find the one for oily skin compared to the original one?
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your car crash and sprained ankle...how awful! Great haul, though!

Sorry to hear about that :( Do get better soon. I'm dying to read the review of MUFE Aqua Rouge, because, like you, I've been mulling over buying it for a while now. Does it last through pizza and drinks? Does it flake? Fade?
