Haul: First Payday!

4 August 2012

Kiehls purchases: Kiehls Creme De Corps - £8.50, Kiehls Scented Lip Balm #1 (Mango) - £9.50
Boots purchases: Boots Extracts Mango Sugar Scrub - £7.95, Chanel Inimitable Mascara - £23

Sorry for the link overload there, but I always find it a bit of a pain when I see a product featured on a post and I don't know where to purchase it! This Thursday was my first pay day at my new job, and my first post-uni 'grown up' wage. Since April I've been working really hard to get on top of my debts, and I've cleared £500 worth of credit cards and £1000 off my overdraft. My family also had some super good news on Friday, so I decided to celebrate by finally treating myself to some of the things I've wanted for months now.

This morning I headed off to Nottingham with my little sister (big mistake - Villa were playing Forest, and so because where I live is sandwiched in between Birmingham and Nottingham the train was packed with drunk brummie football fans). After getting loads of blisters trying to find Space NK, a really lovely assistant helped me select a few products that I'm so excited to use. We also headed over to Kiehls and American Apparel, where I finally picked up the meteor shower polish that I'd actually ordered from their website a couple of weeks ago (it never arrived and no-one replied to my e-mails, really disappointed).

I wouldn't normally be so excessive with my purchases, but I'd been wanting each and every one of these items for so long and spent so long researching the products. Don't expect to see this much every pay day though! It took me absolutely ages to photograph everything, considering I've photographed about half of the products for individual reviews - so let me know if there's anything you'd like to see :).

Finally, a special mention to this bad boy that my sister bought  for me. I couldn't resist a little bite before posting this, delicious!
Have you fancied treating yourself lately? What would your haul contain?
